As a Volunteer, I:

1) Should not drink water from any faucet on the farm (well water). Must bring my own water to prevent dehydration. I will dring plenty of water and can refill my bottle at designated sinks on the farm.

2) Should be careful handling tools & leave them clean of mud (I will ask if I have questions).

3) Should use caution when in the field; unseen objects under the tarp such as bricks, t-posts, etc present a tripping hazard.

4) Should not use the tractor or other equipment.

5) Should be aware that Poison Ivy grows in all shaded/wooded areas.

6) Should be aware that native bees/wasps/spiders/rat & garter snakes reside on the farm and are considered generally beneficial.

7) Should wear appropriate clothing: Sun protection, Hat, Long Pants, bring/wear Long Sleeved-Shirt, Close-Toed Shoes (boots preferred, see #6).
